Miami Boat Show - February 2019

Updated: Mar 20, 2019

Natalie and I decided to head down to the Miami Boat Show for a quick get away.

We left home early (5:00am) on Friday morning...returning Saturday mid-day.

We arrived to the Four Seasons around 11:00am in Friday morning, with a nice drive from Jacksonville. Very luckily, they had a room available that we could check-in to immediately!

We went to the 7th floor pool deck, yes 7th floor...it was amazing. Nice landscaping, a beautiful pool and a good pool snack bar. We had a great lunch there, enjoying the perfect 78 degree and sunny weather.

After lunch we hopped into an Uber and headed for the Show.

We checked out some of the latest gadgets and boats, checking out electronics for the boat and visiting the Fountaine Pajot booth.

Luckily, I had reserved a table at the Rusty Pelican restaurant for 5pm. We made it on time, to enjoy the sunset and relax. The food was ok, but the view of the Miami skyline was amazing.

Saturday morning we enjoyed a coffee from a local coffee shop across from our hotel. We also had a laugh as Natalie got soaked while taking a picture in the pool hammock...so funny!

We headed back to the show to look at a few more boat details and enjoy the amazing weather. Biscayne Bay and Virginia Cay are an amazing place.

Natalie and I met up with Ken Krasko and Rudy Vereen of ACY, and discussed a few remaining items for the new 45. It's an exciting time with anticipation of our upcoming boat and the fun family adventures that await! :)

We met up with Brian and Chrissy, who were also at the show, and enjoyed an adult beverage with them.

After a bit more moseying around, it was time to head North back to Jacksonville. Until next time Miami!
